It's all possible here at Cedar Creek Park, our RV park in Cave Spring, Georgia (also known as Cave Springs). When you stay at our campground near Rome and Cedartown, you'll have access to all the attractions of northwestern Georgia, plus activities like fly fishing, Striper fishing, golfing, boating, Canoeing, Kayaking, hiking, biking, and much more. Plan your visit with our easy-to-use online reservations system. Cedar Creek Park is conveniently located about 60 miles northwest of Atlanta (as the crow flies) on Big Cedar Creek, not far from Rome, the mighty Coosa River, and the Alabama border. We're set on Georgia Highway 411, off Interstate 75, making it easy to use our park as a base camp for your tour of the area.
Stay with us while you explore the foothills of the Appalachian Mountains, shop for antiques in Cave Spring, or fish for striped bass, hybrid bass, trout, brim, crappie, and catfish on Big Cedar Creek, Weiss Lake or the Coosa River. You can tour the cave and underground spring that gave Cave Spring its name, catch a race at the Rome Speedway, or take in a ballgame with the exciting Rome Braves.
We offer canoe and kayak rentals ( 4 hour float trip )at Cedar Creek Park, plus inner-tube rentals and a canoa launch for your convenience. You'll also find full hook-ups for RVs, wi-fi internet access, our driving range, camp store, and New special group lodge at our RV park near Rome. With many fun festivals and activities going on in our area, we know you'll find plenty to do and see when you come camping with us at our RV park.

Cancellation/Refund/Policies:  

Camping

  • $10 Cancellation fee up to 3 days from arrival date.
  • No refunds within 3 days of arrival.
  • One move will be allowed up to arrival date.
  • Must be 21 years of age to reserve
  • Pets are welcome on all sites (Rental units excluded). Pets must be on a leash and under control at all times. They cannot be left outside unattended. They must not bark excessively.
  • No pets at any time in rental units.
  • Full park rules are available at our office or upon request.

Water Sports

  • No Refunds
  • Scheduled reservation may be moved once prior to reservation date without charge.
  • Cedar Creek RV & Outdoor Center reserves the right to cancel the trip for any reason particularly for safety or mechanical breakdown.
  • You must be 18 years of age to reserve. Must sign waiver. Children must have signed waiver from parent or legal guardian. No acceptions.
  • All paddlers must provide a legal picture ID. A copy will be held for your safety and identification.
  • All paddlers must wear a life guard approved life jacket at all times. One is provided for CCP rental boats. Please be sure the weight range printed on jacket is appropriate.
  • Absolutely no alcohol or illegal drugs are allowed on trip.
  • Children must be at least 7 years old for their safety.
  • For the safety of our guests and your pets, no pets are allowed.
  • No glass bottles.
  • No large coolers.
  • No lude or insidious behavior.
  • All paddlers must be in good health and prepared to do a physically demanding paddle. Consult your physician if you are pregnant or unsure of your health.

Enjoy one of our 62 Full hookup RV sites. All sites include Water, 50 Amp electrical services, sewer and Park wifi. You will love the cool creek breeze coming from Big Cedar Creek. What blessing it is to relax and watch the water flow by. All sites include Picnic Table, Fire Ring and Grill.

KAYAK AND CANOE RENTALS

Enjoy a beautiful day trip floating Big Cedar Creek. We are blessed to have outfitted thousands of families and friends on Big Cedar Creek. Individuals, families, church groups and other large groups are welcome. Big Cedar Creek is a great place to get some skills in moving water and do some family bonding. Tent Group Site

Perfect for groups up to 40 people. You get your own private pavilion, fire ring, grill, electric and water. The site is nearly surrounded by the gentle babble of the creek. Great for scout groups, family reuniouns, Friends or anytime a group of folks want to camp.
